How do I sign up?

Simply click the register button at the top-right-hand-corner of the screen.

Is my information safe?

This is the internet.  It is as safe as Facebook or as safe as you make it.  You are allowed to modify who can see the information you submit, and if you are uncomfortable with the information you submit, feel free to create sudo names.

Someone is harassing me, what do I do?

Immediately block that person from his profile and send an admin a report using the contact form:

How do I create a group?

Use the top navigation bar to find the Group’s page.  There will be a large button there called “Create Group”.  Click it and follow all on-screen buttons clicking the “next” button when you are done with the fields.

I'm not a FB member of The South is Rising Again, am I welcome here?

Under most circumstances you would be as long as you don’t display hateful tendencies toward Americans.  Even if you did, we would likely have fun with your presence rather than ban you anyways.

I am a group admin, can I make rules for my group?

Of course, you can.  You can also set your group’s moderators, kick people from your group and set permissions on how people join your group (ie, by invitation only, by application, or open access).

How do I post news?

On the left-hand side of the screen is quick links to your activities.  There you will find “MyNews”, simply click that and then click “Post News” at the top of that page.

How do I add a friend?

There are several ways to add a friend.  Where ever you see a member’s avatar or round icon, simply hover your mouse over that and click “Add Friend”.  You can browse members in the member’s list clicking the “Add Friend” button that is off to the side of their names.

Can I delete my information?

If you ever want to delete your profile, for whatever reason, please contact us here:

Please keep in mind that not all requests may be honored and we may retain a record of your account even after deletion for legal purposes.

If there is a problem on the forums, who do I report it to?

On any forum, if you find a post that violates the community rules, please simply click the “Report” link at the top-right-hand-corner of the post you want to report.  A moderator will review the post and take action if necessary.

Who do I report copyright issues to?

Under most cases, being this is a volunteer news reporting website, the use of copyrighted content is legally protected by the Fair Use Act. However, if you believe that your copyrights have been violated, please send us an inquiry using the contact page:
